Terms of Service

Last Updated: 22 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Nudge Android app or the website www.nudgeadhd.app (together, the "Service"). Nudge is a small independent app made in New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

We may update these terms as Nudge changes. We'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they apply.

2. Your account

  • You need to be at least 13 to use Nudge.
  • Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • You can delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for what that removes).

3. Using Nudge fairly

Please don't:

  • use the Service for anything illegal;
  • harass, threaten or bully anyone, including in Work With Me rooms and the community;
  • impersonate someone or misrepresent who you are;
  • try to break into, overload or interfere with the Service or other people's accounts;
  • copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app, or use bots or scripts to access it;
  • create multiple accounts to get around free limits.

4. Free plan and Nudge Pro

Free plan: the core of Nudge is free: tasks, your timeline, the focus timer, habits, reminders, Work With Me rooms and Hard Day mode. Each helper (AI) feature, meaning suggestions, Brain Dump and splitting a task into steps, includes 3 free uses so you can see if it helps.

Nudge Pro adds unlimited helper suggestions, Brain Dump and task splitting, Week in Review, extra focus sounds, and lets your helper keep learning about you. It's available as:

  • Monthly or Annual: a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • Lifetime: a one-off purchase that unlocks Pro for as long as Nudge is offered.
  • Prices are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy. Payment is taken by Google Play.
  • Cancelling: cancel a subscription any time in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Price changes: if a subscription price changes, Google Play will tell you before it affects you.
  • Refunds: refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies. If something went wrong, email us and we'll do our best to help.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protection law that applies to you, including your right to a refund or remedy where the law gives you one.

5. Billing problems

If you think you've been charged incorrectly, please email us at support@nudgeadhd.app first. Most problems are quick to sort out. This doesn't affect your right to dispute a payment you didn't authorise. If a payment is reversed through a chargeback, Pro may be removed from the account, and we may suspend accounts that use chargebacks fraudulently.

6. Your helper's suggestions

Your helper's suggestions, Brain Dump task lists and task steps are generated automatically by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or not right for you, so please use your own judgement. They are not professional advice of any kind.

7. Community and Work With Me

  • Community posts and comments on our website are public. Work With Me rooms show your display name and what you're working on to others in the room.
  • Be kind. We may remove content, or suspend access, if it breaks these terms or makes the space unsafe.
  • Images you add are checked automatically before they're accepted.

8. Your content and ours

Your tasks, notes and posts belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run the Service (for example, to show your community posts on the website). Nudge itself, including its design, code, text and graphics, belongs to us.

9. Your health and safety

Nudge is a planning and focus tool. It is not a medical or mental health service and it isn't a substitute for professional care. If you're struggling, please reach out to a professional or someone you trust. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency number (000 in Australia, 911 in the US, 112 in the EU) or:

  • Lifeline Australia: 13 11 14
  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US): call or text 988
  • Crisis Text Line (US): text HOME to 741741
  • Shout (UK): text SHOUT to 85258

10. Changes and availability

We're always improving Nudge, so features may change. We aim to keep the Service running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. If we ever decide to close Nudge, we'll give reasonable notice and a chance to get a copy of your data.

11. Our responsibility to you

We provide Nudge with care, but to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost time, lost productivity or lost opportunities. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, it is limited to the amount you paid us for Nudge in the 12 months before the problem, or to supplying the Service again.

This doesn't exclude or limit any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded, or our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Ending your use of Nudge

You can stop using Nudge and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, harms other people or puts the Service at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why first.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If you live elsewhere, you also keep any protections the consumer laws of your own country give you.
